The ink has dried and we’re ready to share more details about our shire land in Costa Rica!
We’ll have over 12 acres of lush rainforest with mountain views, freshwater springs, a waterfall, a banana patch, and gentle streams running through it to build the Firefly Shire. We’re also adopting an elderly horse named Lucas!
The region is well known to local nature lovers for its delicious coffee and beautiful views of lake of Cachi, and is frequented by bicyclists, bird watchers, rock climbers, and visitors to the national parks and the nearby Irazu and Turrialba volcanoes. You can even get a good glimpse of the Irazu volcano from the shire!
We’re also collaborating with local farmers to source the best beans for a fair price to make The Firefly Shire Coffee, discussing supporting a Nature Reserve nearby, and other community-based tourism initiatives that will receive 10% of Firefly Shire proceeds. (More about that soon!)
We’ll have enough to build out a communal structure with lodging, a shared kitchen and event space, glamping tent cabins, a food forest, a gourmet mushroom grow, and our flagship earth-sheltered home. We’re excited to share more about the future IRL utility of our NFT collectibles during our Series 3 NFT drop and the release of our Shire Scroll!
